About Match Summary
The Match Summary page shows a full Wisden-style scorecard for the selected match plus the underlying Runs Above Average analytics.
Batting RAA and Bowling RAA measure how each player performed relative to what an average player would have achieved in the same match situation. Positive = above average; negative = below average. A positive bowling RAA means the bowler restricted the batting side below the expected average.
The Top 5 Impactful Overs charts after each scorecard highlight the overs that moved the match most, shown in batting order:
- Change in Predicted Score — for each of the five overs, how the model's projected final score moved during that over (from one value to another). Blue means the batting side pushed it up; amber means the bowling side pulled it back. The biggest swing is ranked #1. An over marked with an asterisk (*) is the first over, whose swing is measured against the average projection (the sum of its batters' RAA).
- Runs Above Average — each batter's and bowler's RAA contribution in those overs. Blue bars = batting RAA; amber bars = bowling RAA.
Top Performers at the bottom highlights the standout batter, bowler and overall player by RAA — how does this compare with the officially announced player of the match?
An asterisk (*) next to a batter's score indicates not out. A batter shown 0 (0) came to the crease but did not face a ball (e.g. as non-striker at innings close). For a catch, the dismissal shows the catcher's name (c Fielder b Bowler); when the bowler took the catch it is shown as c & b Bowler.
